With 15 restaurants, cafes and a successful roastery under his belt, Alex has mastered the art of hospitality and understands the importance of customer satisfaction.
His passion for food, people and excellence in his craft emanate through everything he does.
From humble beginnings in West Auckland's New Lynn, Alex has developed the Mozaik Caffe brand into a successful franchise. Casablanca Cafe was the next, and more recently, Nomad restaurant in Pt Chevalier, Deco Eatery in Titirangi and Bodrum Kitchen, Lynnmall.
Decos unique setting in the historic Lopdell House once again showcases Alex's keen eye for detail and fearless use of colour and statement pieces. Decos menu echoes the flavours of his Turkish homeland. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply to relax at the cafe, Deco welcomes you in with open arms
Mediterranean Restaurant • Bar • Pizzeria Nomad opened its doors in Point Chevalier late 2014. Alex's keen eye for detail is obvious from his unique influences on the beautiful fit out, to the menu with its Mediterranean flare and of course an amazing wood fired oven for artisan pizzas and breads. The offer at Nomad is always fresh, challenging and innovative.
